Lively and witty, always with something interesting to say or a joke to tell, you’re often surrounding by a giggling group of friends. Your diary is always full and when you arrive the party really gets going. However, it’s by no means certain that you’ll actually turn up at all. You don’t mean to be unreliable, but you can be impulsive. Because you’re so adaptable you expect other people to have the same attitude and if you let them down for a better offer, well, you wouldn’t expect anything else from them. You change your mind like the wind and you probably see no reason why you shouldn’t. Life is for living, and living is now! There are so many different ways of looking at things, and you love to gather information, keeping up with the news, scientific advances and celeb gossip. You may worry about having your wings clipped – make sure that this doesn’t cause you to lose out.
• Remember to listen deeply and attentively as well as chat, so you don’t miss the point.
• Choose something with built in variety to study in depth.
• Relax regularly so you don’t scatter your energies.
• Ask the right questions, rather than endlessly looking for answers that may be superficial
You’re on a mission to be as learned as possible and it’s important to your self-esteem to feel you know stuff. If you don’t have the opportunity for a good education you may well be discontented – however, you will always find a way to achieve your goals, for you are resourceful and multi-tasking. Probably you have several strings to your bow and can do more than one job. Your mega-brain is backed up by manual skill, so you can be very creative. Making things may be a kind of magic, but once a task is complete you can’t wait to get on with the next. Being a jack-of-all-trades, what you do must always intrigue and stimulate you, or you could run out of steam. You may experience great changes, so after 20 years you may be in a totally different place. Make sure you communicate your thoughts to others so they can keep up!
• Keep a journal to capture your life experience.
• Sign up for short courses, which you can complete before getting bored.
• Learn foreign languages.
You have a powerful urge to live life to the full. Like a bee sucking nectar, you extract all the pleasure from the present moment. Then, like the bee, you buzz off somewhere else. Your need to travel physically and emotionally is a constant itch and you’re probably always planning some trip or outing. You could also love mental travel, with books and computers, but it’s unlikely you’ll be able to keep still for long. Sometimes you do mischievous things just to watch what will happen, and also to find out how you’ll react, because you can amaze yourself. You have a deep need for freedom and variety, coupled with wanting true communication with others, and that’s a balance that you need to find if your life is to be rich and meaningful. Self-analysis will help you. Never try to be what you aren’t because you’ll feel trapped. Here are your mantras;
• Variety is the spice of life.
• Change is the only constant.
• Foolish consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds.
• All part of life’s rich tapestry.
Experience is the great teacher and you may have a life full of ups and downs. Do you perhaps live on the brink, pushing things because it makes you feel alive? Maybe you need to learn that there are safe highs and chances you can take that will make life more exciting without courting disaster. As you were growing up there may have been instability around. You may have been caught up in melodramas and now have a habit of creating them. But now you can use your sharp mind to work out what’s happening and become stable. You understand lots of things and have a wide range of skills and you may have been the ‘can do’ person in your family. Have faith that you can change in a way that is constructive and beneficial. Learn these lessons;
• Leave the past behind but don’t throw out what’s of value.
• Work at understanding yourself and others.
What next? Your unpredictable behavior keeps everyone guessing, and entertained. This happens naturally because your thirst for new experience continually gets you into adventures and fixes. You may have a reputation for being ‘cool’. A great individualist, you quite like to shock, and you don’t have time to worry what other people think. Your unreliability is legend because you get distracted and way-laid, but friends learn to take you as they find you. At the pub quiz you’re a favourite (if you manage to remember to get there) because you have a wonderful memory, turning up obscure facts when needed. Quirky and inventive, you have a secret fear you’re dull. Come off it!
• Have several different friendship groups, so you can express your many sides.
• Enjoy as many exploits as you can, and write down your experiences.
• Try to get a column in a local magazine or parish journal.
• Avoid committing – if you say ‘maybe’ no-one can complain you’ve let them down.
