Your birthday has come around and what better time could there be for taking stock. Remind yourself of your talents, face your challenges and get set for a great year ahead.
Charitable and high-principled, it’s essential for you to believe you are doing the right thing and being an asset to the human race and the planet. Good causes light your fire and you may well rattle a can for the homeless outside your local supermarket. Or you might put on your wellies and lead a pack of enthusiastic young people cleaning up a stream or beauty spot. Probably you love nature – you feel close to all that lives, and you need to get outdoors regularly, to let your spirit recover from the pressures of life. Your attitude is friendly and tolerant – in fact you may find that your mates tend to be from other cultures or backgrounds, or what some people would call ‘weird’.
Although you may have a wide circle of acquaintances and be liked by lots of people, you rarely let anyone really close – there’s a remote quality to you and you’d much rather be the helper than the helped. A great individualist, you probably stand out from the crowd in some way – in fact you may enjoy that wacky image because it shows you’re a rebel. In your career you may not be very ambitious – doing something you enjoy and that is good for the world matters more to you than making money. Quite possibly you’re techno-savvy – your interests and abilities are a combination of the very traditional, such as outdoor pursuits and crafts, to the up-to-date and futuristic. In relationships you are very aware of the need for freedom and independence, and you may form unusual bonds with people much older or younger, or who live some distance away, or who are in some way ‘different.’ You can’t bear a sense of emotional suffocation and lots of demands will make you withdraw. Sometimes you’ll go for the ‘no strings’ type of partnership, but that doesn’t really satisfy you. What you want is someone who can be a mate as well as a lover and who can understand you as well as have a life of their own. Then you’ll be loyal for life.
• You can be cranky and uncooperative. Remember that you don’t have to prove you’re an individual and being tolerant and understanding won’t tie you down.
• It can be hard for you to cope with your feelings and this can cause you to switch off to the emotions of others. Tears or anger aren’t a sign of being stupid or weak.
• Of course you are a rebel and a free spirit, but you don’t have to show this at every opportunity. There’s no need to be different for the sake of it – use your creativity more positively.
• Mind you don’t jump on the moral high-ground. Making other people feel guilty or small does nothing for the human race as a whole.
• Stubborn and opinionated? You? Yes, sometimes. Remind yourself to give others the freedom to hold their views.
Your mind is on the future and all the possibilities open to you, but you can also be quite cautious. Add this to a touch of absent-mindedness and you can miss out, if you aren’t careful. This year you need to focus on learning as much as you can and networking. Make sure you communicate clearly and don’t be too determined to get your own way or prove you’re ‘right’. Relationships are bringing you lots of joy and fulfillment and as Autumn comes along there will be possibilities of making money or receiving gifts through partners or relatives. Accept these gracefully and use them for the good of all concerned. September brings you freedom from some career demands and you will be able to build up your circle of friends, meeting up with some people from the past who can help you, and forming long-term links with new ones. Face any lingering fears you have and be objective. 2015 can be a fantastic year for self-expression and good contacts.
