Britney quits haunted home

We often see Britney Spears going in and out of hotels and think to ourselves, why would you live out of a hotel when you have a huge house? Apparently, it’s because Britney feels like her Malibu mansion is haunted and has quit her £4.5 million rented mansion. Press reports have said that Britney was being “driven mad” by an apparition in the nine-bedroom property in the exclusive resort of Malibu, California.
Britney began renting the mansion some months ago after the home she shared with her husband was sold. An unnamed friend told reporters “She is totally spooked by the place; she feels terribly lonely and hears all sorts of noises that can’t be explained. The whole vibe of the house makes her nervous and maybe explains some of her erratic behaviour”
French-born Alexi Csato, a previous owner, said the property “is definitely haunted, my family had some extremely frightening supernatural experiences.” He added “We traced the history of the place and believe the spirit of a tormented girl is trapped there.”
Mrs Csato, who lived at the mansion with her husband, said they had sold the house “because we couldn’t stand it any more. There were all sorts of unexplained bumps and noises.” She and her daughter both heard a female singing voice hitting a note “like a high C” several times. Mrs Csato said it was “definitely a girl’s voice. I’m not surprised Britney can’t bear to be there. If I had known she was moving in, I’d have warned her."
A spokesperson for the singer said she has “a short-term lease, which may not be renewed.”
