I initially begin psychic readings with clients on a psychic level. I do this from your voice vibration or from being clairsentient to achieve a connection. This gives me an idea of the bigger picture of why you are seeking advice and what is happening around you at that moment in time. I may use a tool such as Tarot cards or crystals. I then further expand your reading and advise by linking with spirit. This can be from my spirit guides, but more likely it will be a loved one from spirit on the client's side. Spirit then generally gives me more clarification and more details that were initially picked up on a psychic level.
I have been psychic for as long as I can remember. I would talk to spirit as a toddler, or rather they would talk to me. I have an ability to see auras and have done so for most of my life. My grandmother was a platform medium in a spiritualist church and so I grew up with stories of her experiences. When I went to school, I was shocked when I realised I saw what others could not see. When I was 10, my grandmother passed over and she became my most important spirit guide. About 16 years ago, I joined a development group and studied various holistic therapies. I then became a tutor leading my own development group and began giving private sittings. I am first and foremost a medium, as well as channeling inspired poetry.
I was linking with a client whom I had never met before and, to all intents and purposes, she was Scottish as detected from her accent. As I linked in with her, I began to pick up her loved ones in spirit. Firstly, her grandfather, an army doctor who gave me details only she could know. I also picked up a couple of French speaking relatives in spirit and, as my French is not brilliant, I had to ask them to translate what they were saying into feeling and they proceeded to tell me about various articles to be found in her mother's attic. One was a silver engraved cigarette case with entwined initials. I drew the pattern for her, and a couple of photograph frames of the lady in spirit in communication with me. I described these photographs - the details of the people and the name of the horse that was in one of the photos! Both the client and her mother did not know of the existence of these articles and had never gone into the attic, but after searching, they found them exactly as I had described them!
The word ‘clairvoyant’ means ‘spirit-seeing’ (‘clair’ = spirit, ‘voyant’ = to see). A clairvoyant reader is able to receive information about the caller by psychic ability, without cards or any other tool. The reader may see ‘guides’ or people from spirit and will mostly just sense or know information about you and your life. Clairvoyant readings are excellent for general readings as well as those on specific areas or questions.
Mediums have the ability to communicate with ‘spirits’ – these are people who were once living and now live ‘in spirit’. Mediums can bring messages from loved ones and offer ‘evidence of survival’ after death. They cannot summon specific people up for you, but will be able to give information and guidance on who comes to them in the reading. They may also give messages and information from either their or your ‘Spirit Guides’’. Examples of famous Mediums are Gordon Smith, Craig Hamilton Parker, John Edwards, Tony Stockwell & Colin Fry.
Clairsentience (fr. clair = clear and sentience = feeling) is a form of extra-sensory perception where a person acquires psychic knowledge by means of feeling. A clairsentient is generally a person who can feel the movement of other people. There are many different degrees of clairsentience and a clairsentient can pick up on the thoughts and emotions of other people or become aware of the general well-being of other people. They however do not possess a third eye as they can only have a vivid feeling as opposed to a vivid picture in the mind.
All of us have one or more Spirit Guides who watch over us and are able to help or ‘guide’ us through our lives so we have the opportunity to learn what we are here to learn. Our Guides do not force us nor are they with us watching every move we make and hearing every thing we say. Most of us are not aware of their presence and what they are wanting to tell us. Readers can tune into your Guides and often tell you a little about who they are and why they are with you. Using their clairvoyant skills they can pick up on information to pass on to you. Readers will tell you whatever information they are given and you can also ask any questions you may have. Our Spirit Guides come in all shapes and sizes and they are definitely not all Egyptian Priests or Native American Indian chiefs. Sometimes they can be children, animals or a relative who have passed over.
A person who is psychic has the ability to perceive things hidden from the senses through means of extra-sensory perception. Some people believe that psychic powers can be heightened by the study and practice of various disciplines such as meditation. The word "psychic" is a generic term that describes a person who can "sense" on a purely material level but is not able to "tune in" to the spirit world, which is what a medium does. All mediums are psychic but not all psychics are mediums. A psychic will use tools that can be used in conjunction with their natural abillity, for example, tarot cards, runes, palm-reading etc to calculate the future events and give probable forecasts.
