Firstly, can you tell us a bit about your readings?
Over the years theyve varied from client to client, no two are the same and should be treated as such. Clients have concerns about everything from career concerns, important decisions regarding money or property and of course their personal life and relationships, be it romantic, family or friends. Under no circumstances should health, apart from the most general terms, or imminent death of a client or their loved ones be discussed. Often, a client will have made an important life choice and just seek confirmation from spirit that their decision is correct.
How did you discover or train to be clairvoyant?
Clairvoyance is just one of the abilities I have been trained in. I joined a circle when in my teens and now teach a beginners class in spiritual development.
Do you think anyone can become clairvoyant if they want to?
I believe that we all have the potential of multiple spiritual abilities.
Can you explain what a clairvoyant is exactly and how this differs from clairaudient and clairsentient?
Clairaudient is the physical hearing of a voice or sound; approximately five percent of the population could develop this particular ability. Clairsentience is sensitivity to the vibration of spirit and its information, someone once called it clair-knowing, and I would wholeheartedly agree with this description. Clairvoyance is receiving of pictures in the minds eye. The secret is to trust what is seen and translate whats depicted correctly.
How did you react the first time you saw or heard someone from spirit talking to you, how did you feel?
This question comes under the heading of mediumship if talking about a specific person. Clairvoyance, clairaudience and clairsentience is a tuning in to the spirit world in general. You do not have to have honed any mediumistic skills for working in this way. Any message can be unnerving until you develop confidence enough to believe and transmit what you are being told, in that way I am no different to anyone else. At 19 I was made aware of what I was actually doing and not particularly thrilled, but spirit had its way and brought me to work on its behalf with some very kind teachers.
What do you think of all the media clairvoyants that we see on TV so much now and the programmes they are involved with?
I purposely avoid watching others as it is not my right to judge the work of my peers. I welcome spiritual work into the public eye and hope that this will bring many people to want to develop their abilities.
Do you find that you get tired from doing your readings or does it energise you?
It will depend entirely on the reading, but generally I feel that healing can be produced during a reading and the emotions involved can be somewhat tiring.
Do you need to use a tool, such as cards and so on to use your clairvoyance or do you without anything at all?
Although I dont need them, clients feel happier with me using tools rather just tuning in to them.
